Ghost in the Shell: SAC, Appleseed Directors Helm Ultraman 3D CG Anime
The Ultraman production unveiling event at Tokyo Comic Con announced on Friday that Kenji Kamiyama (Ghost in the Shell: Stand Alone Complex, Eden of the East, Napping Princess) and Shinji Aramaki (Appleseed, Harlock: Space Pirate, Starship Troopers: Traitor of Mars) are directing the 2019 anime of Eiichi Shimizu and Tomohiro Shimoguchi’s Ultraman manga. It also announced that Production I.G (Ghost in the Shell: Stand Alone Complex, Eden of the East, Napping Princess) and Sola Digital Arts (Appleseed Alpha, Starship Troopers: Invasion, Starship Troopers: Traitor of Mars) are producing the anime in 3D CG. The event unveiled a short promotional video for the anime.
