Ghost in the Shell’s Mamoru Oshii Animates Film Project of Baku Yumemakura’s Chimera Novels
In the author’s note for his 13th Chimera novel volume, writer Baku Yumemakura confirmed that Mamoru Oshii’s screen adaptation of the Chimera novel series is planned as an animation film project. The wraparound jacket band on the same 13th volume announced the screen adaptation on Wednesday. The announcement does not specify if Oshii will direct, write, or produce the project.
