Sega Head: New Sakura Wars ‘Will Not End With Just a Game’
Sega Holdings President and CEO Haruki Satomi stated in an interview from this week’s issue of Kadokawa’s Weekly Famitsu magazine on Thursday that Sega’s newly-announced game in the Sakura Taisen (Sakura Wars) franchise will “not end with just a game.” He also acknowledged that fans of the series have expressed a desire for a new game in the series for some time, and that members of the company also wanted to revive the series.
The new game is temporarily titled Shin Sakura Taisen (New Sakura Wars). Sega is planning a simultaneous release in Japan and Asia.
